A. Boelhouwer (Anika)

PhD Candidate

About Me

Anika Boelhouwer was born in a small Dutch town in the Netherlands. During her Bachelor in Arts and Technology she developed her interest in design and human computer interaction. To combine her knowledge of design and the psychology of design interaction, she started her Master in Human Factors and Engineering Psychology after her graduation.

During her studies, she has worked at multiple design and research institutions such as TNO and T-Xchange which focus on the interaction between humans and applications. Now, she will continue her research through a PHD position at the CTS department of the University of Twente. Here she will study the interaction between drivers and (the interface of) partially automated vehicles.
