I am currently teaching various modules of the Psychology Bachelor program. Within these modules, I mostly tutor project groups. I educate and guide students in developing and improving their personal, professional and academic skills.
Next to teaching, my interest lies in research. During my master’s degree, I focused on combining social-psychological research with cutting-edge, high-tech equipment such as eye-tracking technology. I was also recently involved in a research project which examined incidents of violence and aggression in asylum seekers’ centres. We tried to gain deeper insight into the nature of these incidents and to understand how The Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA) can prevent or handle these incidents more effectively.
