About Me

I am a researcher with an interest in asset management of digitized assets. Currently, I am conducting research in how to manage the convergence of IT and OT systems within complex assets, specifically within rolling stock (trains). My research aims to support asset managers by developing methods for adequate management of their assets over its lifecycle. This research is carried out at the Nederlands Spoorwegen (NS).

Research

My PhD is part of the AMICO project, an ongoing project of the Asset and Maintenance Management Group within the DPM department.

The AMICO project focuses on finding solutions for increasing asset digitization, for more information see the AMICO website: AMICO Project - MAINTAINING DIGITIZED TRAINS FOR RAILWAY RESILIENCE (utwente.nl).

The topic of my project within AMICO is: "Supporting the management of IT-OT converged asset".

My research efforts focus on investigating which factors are essential in managing digitized assets and creating tools to support the management of these aspects over an asset's lifecycle. The main focus is on the management of rolling stock (trains).
