About Me
As programmamanager for the Dutch police I write and execute programs in the field of social justice; curbing racism and ethnic profiling in particular. I assists local police teams to cope with challenges and to (re)build trust and (re)gain legitimacy in the communities they serve. I consider myself as an enthusiastic and dedicated police professional, with a background in science and conflictmanagement. I do not uphold any particular political views, nor am I religious (I try to see the world through a prism). My concerns are (however) with climate and animal rights.

Research
My research focuses on the participation of police officers around the subject of ethnic profiling. My project examens the interaction between a broad array of psychological mechanisms and their effect on attitudes and behavior. Therefore I use advanced (immersive) technology.
