About Me
Bastien Venzac was born in 1989 in Paris. After being graduated from the ESPCI Paris, a generalist engineering school, he obtained a master grade from the microfluidics master of the Institut Pierre-Gilles de Gennes (IPGG). During his PhD in Jean-Louis Viovy's group (Institut Curie/IPGG), he worked on the conductometric detection of DNA in a miniaturized system for bacteria detection, on a kidney-on-chip study and on several projects linked to manual operations in microfluidic chips.
Bastien joined the AMBER team in May 2017 for a two-years post-doc contract. His project will include high-throughput mechanical characterization of cell elasticity and organ-on-chip studies.
