Welcome...

dr. C.I. Aragon Briceño (Christian)

Postdoctoral Researcher

About Me

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in Environmental Engineering from the Sustainable Process Technology and Thermal Engineering Groups at the University of Twente. My work focuses on issues related to waste management, wastewater treatment, and energy recovery from waste, focusing on topics related to anaerobic digestion, biogas production, and nutrient recovery. Most of my research is based on the application of thermal treatments to harness the properties of the sewage sludge for energy production.
I have more than 8 years of experience in topics related to Biogas and anaerobic digestion. Before joining the Ph.D. program, I worked as a manager of wastewater treatment systems in rural areas at one of the most important pig farming companies in Mexico from 2013 to 2015.
