This is Ella. I have been teaching for a long time. I have taught languages in different countries, institutions, and settings for several years. My educational background is in the STEM field though. I have taught mathematics in an Electrical Engineering department for a couple of years. I was a researcher investigating the effects of Game-Based Learning on students' degree of motivation and anxiety. I have been an active promoter of inclusion and diversity at my workplace. I believe we can create a safe environment where learning is fun and long-lasting :)

I was a researcher in the "GAme-based learning in MAthematics" (GAMMA) project at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.

The focus of this research group and its partners is on the effects of gamification and digital games on mathematics education and students' success.
