E. Ydo MSc (Evelien)

My primary role is program management, where I oversee projects that focus on learning communities and lifelong learning in professional and vocational contexts. I manage project like the CLIC-IT Learning Communities and Power-Up Learning Communities projects, which aim to foster collaboration, innovation, and professional growth in the areas of digital transformation and the energy transition. Additionally, I lead the dissemination of outcomes for the Smart Skills at Scale project, which also centers on learning communities. My personal goal as a program manager is to ensure that the outcomes of these projects make a practical and meaningful impact on organizations and individuals. I am also dedicated to supporting researchers in maximizing the impact of their findings. By providing guidance and handling organizational aspects, I enable them to focus on the research itself, ensuring their work can achieve its full potential.

Alongside my program management responsibilities, I contributed to research on innovative technologies, particularly virtual reality (VR), in professional learning. My involvement includes projects such as 4TU.CEE: Training Presentation Skills Using VR and Connecting the Dots: Task-Oriented VR for Training Situational Awareness.
