About Me

Francesco Acciani is a PhD student in the Hybrid Systems group, in the Applied Mathematics department of University of Twente.

He got his master degree in Automation Engineering at the Polytechnic university in Bari, Italy, in April 2014, with a thesis on control of vibrating structures using piezoelectric alloys. His research interests are in robust and distributed control.

Currently he is working on distributed consensus problems and cooperative driving over unreliable network, developing an hybrid observer approach to overcame the failures that might happen in wireless networks, jointly between the Hybrid Systems and the Design and Analysis of Communication Systems departments. Read more about his project..
