About Me

I work as a primary school teacher (grade 1) and as a researcher at the Section for Teacher Professionalization ELAN of the University of Twente. In my daily work, I am always looking for ways to improve education. This applies first and foremost to my own teaching practice, in which I am always focused on questions such as: how do I make my teaching even more effective, and how can I connect with my students even better? In our school team, we continuously consider how to improve our lessons together. My research focuses on teacher effectiveness and the use of student perceptions of teaching quality for the development of teaching and teachers.

Research

My research focusses on teacher effectiveness and teacher professionalization and the use of student feedback for improving teaching.
