About Me

I am assistant professor in geological remote sensing. I teach MSc and PhD courses on remote sensing, data processing and computer programming. My research interest is on spectral image processing for earth science applications:

  • porting hyperspectral mineral indices to freely available satellite imagery;
  • analysis of multi-temporal satellite imagery data for monitoring earth dynamics;
  • analysis of time-lapse camera data for monitoring earth dynamics;
  • the use of open source computing environments and processing automation;
