After completing the Bachelor Gezondheidswetenschappen and Master Health Sciences at the University of Twente, I started my PhD in december 2016 at the UT department of Psychology, Health and Technology. My research focuses on the support of healthcare workers to optimalize safety stewardship to limit antibiotic resistance and hospital infections. This is done by following a participatory holistic approach, in which close cooperation with healthcare workers is essential.

Since December 2016 I’m a PhD’er at the department of Psychology, Health and Technology. As part of the EurHealth-1Health project (INTERREG VA) I will develop the user-interface of an Early Warning Surveillance System (EWS) that supports healthcare professionals in the prevention of disease outbreaks (esp. by highly resistant microorganisms (HRMO) and adequate use of antibiotics.
