Until my retirement, I held the position of senior project manager at HAN Automotive Research, a research group at HAN University of Applied Sciences. My areas of focus there included projects in the field of Connected Automated Transport (CAT) in logistics applications. An important aspect of this work is connecting completely different partners.

Especially this is an the main driver to strat in 2018 a doctorate study at the University of Twente. In this thesis I am focusing on the interaction between professionals working in the communities of Education, Professional Practice and Research (The Triangle), in the context of a University of Applied Sciences. More specifically, my doctoral research focuses on the perception of institutional rationalities among professionals who interact within the aforementioned triangle. My ambition is to provide a grounded insight into the interaction between these professionals. This understanding can then serve as a basis for innovations within (and possibly also between) the organisations involved.
