About Me
Mehrnaz is graduated in Industrial Engineering (BSc.) and Socioeconomic Systems Engineering- Transportation Planning (MSc.). Her research interests encompass combinations of different systems and she is willing to collect and analyze data to explore the interactions between individuals and transportation systems. She did her master thesis in "Investigating Individuals’ Preferences and Effective Factors on Commuters' Mode Choices".
From November 2019, as a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Twente, she started the “Accessibility and Road Safety” Project- a collaboration with SWOV (Instituut voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek Verkeersveiligheid). This project aims to integrate road safety indicators in accessibility analysis and planning. This project is supervised by Professor. dr. ir. Kars Geurs, Dr. Mehmet Baran Ulak, and Dr. Wendy Weijermars.
