Matthias Schlottbom is an associate professor (UHD) in the group Mathematics of Computational Science (MACS) in the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Twente.

His research interests are in Numerical Analysis and Scientific Computing. The main focus is the development of numerical methods for partial differential equations and inverse problems. Main areas of applications are photonics and medical imaging.
