I currently combine my work as a medical doctor in Neurology with a PhD at the Clinical Neurophysiology group at the University of Twente. I started studying the additional value of early MRI monitoring for the prediction of neurological outcome after cardiac arrest as part of my research master in Neuroscience. During my second master's degree in Medicine, I continued this line of work focusing on MRI- and EEG-based precision medicine after cardiac arrest. My main interests lie in improving prognostication and unraveling the pathophysiology of postanoxic coma.
