Hi.. My name Annisa Puspa Kirana. I am a researcher and Ph.D. Candidate at Geo-information Processing Faculty ITC, University of Twente, specializing in advancingĀ Artificial Intelligence for Remote Sensing and Earth Observation. My work centers on developing cutting-edge AI and machine learning model to analyze satellite and aerial imagery, with the goal of addressing pressing global challenges such as climate change, environmental degradation, and disaster response. Currenly working in Vision Languange Model especially in Earth Observation field.
By integrating deep learning, computer vision, and geospatial analytics, I aim to unlock actionable insights from vast Earth observation datasets. My research focuses on applications like precision land-cover mapping, real-time disaster monitoring, and sustainable resource managementābridging the gap between computational innovation and real-world environmental solutions.
Ā I am a Lecturer in theĀ Department of Information TechnologyĀ at theĀ State Polytechnic of Malang, currently on study leave to pursue advanced research. I hold a Master Degree in Computer Science from IPB University and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, government agencies, and industry partners to translate research into scalable tools for policymakers and communities. Beyond technical work, I am passionate about open-source science, mentoring students in AI/geospatial fields, and advocating for ethical AI practices in environmental decision-making.
