R. Assink (Remke)

Academic Admission Officer - EEMCS

Remke Assink has been working at the University of Twente since 2000. She started as a secretary in the Office Graduate Studies of Applied Mathematics. After 2 years, she switched to the Office for Educational Affairs, working as a administrative assistant for the Faculty of AM. Within 1 year, she was able to move on to a position as a Student Affairs Officer for BIT & TCS. After 4 years, she switched to the newly formed Office for Educational Support to shape the secretariat together with 2 colleagues. Within this secretariat she was responsible for the support of the international admissions of the MSc programmes within EEMCS and also for the support of the study advisers. After 5 years, she switched to the research group of prof.dr. J. Schmitz, Integrated Devices and Systems, working as a management assistant. Besides that she was also the management assistant of prof.dr.ir. B. Nauta for 4 years, being the EE department chair. Since end 2018 she has been working as a Junior Programme Coordinator & Module Support Officer for the department of Electrical Engineering. On January 15th 2023, she started as Academic Admission Officer within the Faculty of EEMCS.
