About Me
My name is Reynaldo. I am a researcher on software architecture for robotics. I have a background in mechatronics and electrical engineering. My interest is on the energetic behaviour of robotic systems – both of their hardware and software – and on using this energy information to achieve better robot control. I am thrilled to collaborate with researchers working onn software for robotics, control, physical-systems modelling, and more.

Research
My research is on designing software structures for robotics that account for the energy information in the system. This energy-aware software architecture can facilitate addressing concerns in robotics where energy plays a role – e.g., stability, autonomy, physical interaction, higher-level decision making.
