S.Zhu is a PhD candidate in UTwente from Oct.2017. His research interests focus on the oxygen transport and proton transport membranes for separation application and fuel cells (electrolyzer cells). His PhD project works on proton-conducting solid oxide electrolyzer cells, which is an electrolysis system consists of a proton-conducting electrolyte, a catalytically active and chemically stable anode for water splitting, and an anode for hydrogen generation.
