About Me
I am the Program director of the Bachelor and Master Industrial Design Engineering. Also, I have a role as Strategic Education Advisor within the Engineering Technology faculty.
I have studied educational sciences and technology at the University of Twente and completed my Ph.D. at that same university on the use of ICT for flexible learning. I worked within the Netherlands as a curriculum specialist, an educational publisher, a teacher, researcher and education advisor.
I also worked in Africa (Mozambique, Uganda) and South America (Ecuador) on projects within primary, secondary and higher education, always focused on educational change and innovation. My interest lies in the development of flexible learning programs and how lecturers could be best supported in the design of that. I participated in many international conferences, have published in books and journals and was responsible for a number of websites and educational platforms.
