Anmol Aggarwal was born on December 31, 1992, in New Delhi, India. He earned his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Polymer Science & Chemical Technology from Delhi Technological University in 2014, completing his thesis on “Synthesis and Characterization of Natural Fiber-mediated Epoxy Composites.”

Following graduation, he worked for three years in the synthetic paints manufacturing industry. During his final year, the company established a new division dedicated to producing a gel-back compound for machine-made carpets, based on natural rubber latex and high-solid SBR. The technical challenges involved in processing this compound sparked his deeper interest in rubber technology.

Motivated to expand his expertise, he pursued an MSc in Chemical Engineering at the University of Twente in 2018. As part of the Elastomer Technology & Engineering (ETE) Group, he carried out his master’s thesis on “Fabrication of Rubber Bands for a Dynamic Arm-Supporting Device.”

He went on to pursue his PhD, completing his dissertation in September 2025 on “A Study of Structure-Property Relationships in Silica-filled SSBR/BR Compounds,” conducted in collaboration with Synthos Schkopau GmbH.

Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Researcher working on the EU project ChemSkills, where he continues to contribute to advancing knowledge in elastomers and polymer engineering.
