I did my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Ropar, India. My area of expertise is Solid Mechanics, Continuum Mechanics, Finite Element Methods, Composite Materials etc.
Organisations
The title of my Ph.D. thesis is “A Variational Principle Based Studyof Functionally Graded Beams”. Functionally Graded Beams are advanced composite materials and my work was on the mathematical analysis of these beams. Throughout my Ph.D. I have worked on differential calculus and principles of mechanics.
In the past, I worked as a KTP Associate in Mechanics of Materials at University of Leicester, UK where my role is to develop a predictive modelling for avoiding sticking of pharmaceutical powders with the punches. This position also involves the application of mathematical analysis along with the principles of mechanics/physics.
