I am a solid-state chemist with a multidisciplinary background. Experienced in materials synthesis/fabrications and characterizations of heavy metal-based chalcogenides, and transition metal-based oxides. Completed Master of Science (M. Sc.) in Chemistry from the University of Kalyani, WB, India. Ph.D. in materials science on oxide-based thin film thermoelectrics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB, Spain). Currently, a researcher in the Inorganic Materials Science group (UT, Netherlands), carrying out studies in the fields of silicon carbide thin films evaporated by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique.
