I obtained my master in Membrane Engineering in a joined Erasmus Mundus program between the University of Twente, University of Montpellier and UCT Prague in 2020. This interesting master program allowed me to expand my skills in different membrane processes while exchanging experiences with a highly multicultural group.
I am currently a PhD candidate at the Biomechanical Engineering department in the Engineering Organ Support Technologies group. In the PhD, I research and develop an integrated technology combining the functions of membrane oxygenation (pulmonary support) and hemofiltration (renal support) in a single artificial device. In this project, we aim to provide solutions for a medical complication with great social and economic impact by joining expertise in clinical data analysis, device design and development of animal experiments.
