I graduated from the Instituto Superior Técnico (University of Lisbon) with a Master's in Biomedical Engineering in 2025, majoring in Clinical Engineering.
As a Junior Researcher, I collaborated in the Heart-Safe Project at the University of Twente for the year after. My work focused on developing a simulation model to estimate the cost-effectiveness of a smartwatch application for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest detection.
During my PhD, I'll be contributing to the LoaD project, which is developing an eHealth application for patients with knee osteoarthritis. Our goal at HTSR is to conduct a health technology assessment of the intervention.
