Anika joined the Transport Engineering and Management (TEM) research group as a PhD candidate in 2024. Before coming to UT, she studied Mathematics with an emphasis on stochastics, probability theory and a bit of algebraic topology and finished her Bachelor at the University of Münster in 2019. During her Master’s she specialized in Actuarial Mathematics and Risk Measures and received her degree from the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University in Hanover in 2023.
Changing topics from Insurance to Public Transport, Anika aims to make use of her knowledge of Risk and Uncertainty to investigate Travel Time Reliability which is a topic close to her heart as a frequent user of German trains.
