I am Abbas (Abolfazl) Maleki, Ph.D. researcher in the Industrial Engineering & Business Information Systems (IEBIS) Section at the University of Twente. I also hold a bachelor's and master's degree in Industrial Engineering - Systems Optimization. Our research team in the Center for Healthcare Operations Improvement and Research (CHOIR) studies the applications of AI in healthcare logistics. I am particularly interested in integrating AI-based, simulation-based, and optimization-based tools to develop robust decision-support tools to deal with uncertainty in healthcare systems.
