My profile is three-sided. First, I am a senior scholar in political sociology using state-of-the art methods and statistics, with 30 years of experience. I have a broad interest with respect to research topics and a strong track record in interdisciplinary projects. The last ten years, my research has increasingly focused on the health and inequality in a public policy context. Second, I am a scholar who is actively involved in teaching and educational innovation. Last, I am a university professional with strategic responsibilities, currently working as Dean of the Twente Graduate School. I have a professional network extending across academia, the field of education and society.
