My profile is three-sided. First, I am a senior scholar in political sociology using state-of-the art methods and statistics, with 30 years of exper­ien­ce. I have a broad interest with respect to research topics and a strong track record in in­ter­disciplinary projects. The last ten years, my research has increasingly focused on the health and inequality in a public policy context. Second, I am a scholar who is actively involved in teaching and educational innova­tion. Last, I am a university professional with strategic responsibilities, currently working as Dean of the Twente Graduate School. I have a professional network extending across academia, the field of edu­cation and society.
