Anete Veidemane works as a researcher at the Center for Higher Education Policy Studies(CHEPS), the University of Twente since 2018. Before joining CHEPS, she worked as a consultant in the data analytics team for two years and interned at the OECD and the UN. Currently, Anete is responsible for data collection and analysis for the U-Multirank project – an international ranking and transparency tool. At the OECD Anete worked on a project focused on the labour market relevance and outcomes of higher education systems while at the UN she was responsible for identifying MOOCs resources for outer space applications. Anete obtained a joint MSc degree in Research and Innovation in Higher Education from the Erasmus Mundus programme and an MSc degree in Business Information Management from Erasmus University Rotterdam. She has studied in Europe, North America and Asia. Anete has worked on topics related to higher education access, higher education outcomes and labour market, student mobility, higher education exports and education hubs, national development plans and policy borrowing.
