Al Hussein Dabashi received his BEng degree in electronic and communications engineering from the University of Leeds, UK, in 2019, and his PhD in electronic and electrical engineering from Brunel University of London, UK, in 2025. His PhD thesis title is "Novel Cross-Domain Analysis of Cyber-Physical Power Systems using Enhanced Modelling and Simulation Techniques". He completed his postdoctoral research at the University of Warwick, UK, focusing on energy system modelling and the cybersecurity of communication protocols and internet-of-things (IoT) devices in local energy markets (LEM).
