Al Hussein Dabashi received his BEng degree in electronic and communications engineering from the University of Leeds, UK, in 2019, and his PhD in electronic and electrical engineering from Brunel University of London, UK, in 2025. His PhD thesis title is "Novel Cross-Domain Analysis of Cyber-Physical Power Systems using Enhanced Modelling and Simulation Techniques" has been downloaded over 50+ times and can be accessed from: https://zenodo.org/records/19941784.
His previousĀ postdoctoral research at the University of Warwick, UK, focused on local energy markets and energy system modelling, contributing to improving their security and operation.
AlĀ is currently working with theĀ Sustainable Long Duration Batteries (SLDBatt) project, where he focuses on emerging BESS technologies, optimisation and grid-integration. The project isĀ a strategic ā¬30M+ national R&D and clean-tech scale-up initiative.
