Hi everyone, I’m Ali!
I’m a Moroccan-Spanish PhD student here at the University of Twente in the ET-PT department. After finishing my studies in Math and Computational Modeling in France, I’ve moved to Enschede for my PhD at UT and TPRC.
My research focuses on finding faster, more efficient ways to simulate the induction welding of thermoplastic composites... basically trying to find fast alternatives to classical time-heavy methods.
Outside of simulations, I try to enjoy life when possible. I’m a big fan of playing chess and I am a huge football fan. I follow both Barcelona and Arsenal and enjoy their games.
Cheers, Ali

PhD Researcher at the University of Twente (UT) and ThermoPlastic composites Research Center (TPRC), specializing in the efficient simulation of induction welding for thermoplastic composites. My work involves developing multiphysics numerical methods for coupled electromagnetic and heat transfer modeling for industrially relevant aerospace applications.
