My name is Anuradha Meena. My primary research interest lies in energy science. I hold a bachelor's and master's degree in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune, India. For my master's thesis project, I had the opportunity to work at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) in Australia. During my university years, I actively participated in various club activities, which helped me develop strong leadership, management, and multitasking skills.

During my undergraduate studies at IISER Pune, I was actively involved in a diverse range of research projects. Including synthesis of copper nanoparticles and Cu-Au nanostructures for photocatalytic organic reactions, thermochromism, and solvent effect on semiconductor quantum dots. Furthermore, I worked upon sodium ion batteries specifically I synthesised electrode material to enhanced energy density of cathode. Additionally, I gained experience in electroanalytical techniques such as Cyclic voltammetry, RDE & RRDE. From these research projects, I developed an interest in synthesizing materials for energy conversion, utilization, and storage.

Completed BS-MS from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune (IISER Pune) in May 2024.

Enrolled in the Ph.D. program at the University of Twente in the PCS group starting July 1, 2024.

Master's Thesis: Microwave-Enhanced Water-Splitting Reaction for Hydrogen Production.

Water splitting is a very energy-intensive process. Currently existing technology has not been able to solve the energy economics of this process. During my master's thesis project, the goal was to develop a methodology for hydrogen production that requires less energy.

PhD Project: Photothermal Conversion of CO2 to Value-Added Products
