After more than four decades at the Faculty of Science and Technology, I closed the laboratory door on my research in Catalytic Processes and Materials to step into a new challenge.

Looking back at my journey—from researching corrosion in 1985 to the fascinating world of catalysis—I am incredibly grateful for the colleagues and scientific milestones along the way. However, my passion for our University hasn't retired; it’s just changing focus.

I’m excited to share that I have started a new role within the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department of the Faculty of Science and Technology. My focus will now shift toward: 🌱 Sustainability – making our university greener. 🛡️ Safety – ensuring a secure environment for the next generation of researchers. 🤝 Cooperation – strengthening the ties between our faculties and Campus & Facility Management (CFM).

I will also continue my work with the Faculty Council (FC-ST) to help shape the future of the institution I’ve called home for 40 years.

Let’s get to work!
