Bangyu Lan (Student Member, IEEE) received the Bachelor's degree in Electronic Information Engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Weihai, China, in 2020, and the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering (Robotics and Mechatronics track) from the University of Twente, Enschede, Netherlands, in 2024. He had one year of research experience at the Rochester Institute of Technology, U.S.A., where he worked on multimodal deep learning, focusing on computer vision and image processing. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Intelligent Robotics at the University of Twente. His research interests include robotics imaging, robotic prostheses, and intelligent robotics, with a focus on the development of deep learning techniques for interpreting raw signals in robotic applications.
