I am Bahareh, a PhD candidate at the Thermal Conversion and Storage research chair, working on system-level modeling of renewable-energy-based cooling and storage solutions.
Organisations
My PhD project, Digital Twin for Renewable-Energy-Based Off-Grid Cold Storage of Perishables, is part of the EU-funded AGRI-COOL project. AGRI-COOL aims to develop sustainable, solar-powered cold storage systems to reduce food losses and improve the resilience of agricultural value chains in Africa. My research focuses on creating dynamic models and digital twins to assess system performance, energy efficiency, and integration of thermal energy storage.
