EEMCS-EE-BSS

I am a senior researcher in the eHealth group at Roessingh Research & Development (RRD) and passionate about research within Human-Computer interaction and value-sensitive design. I have a medical background with several years of experience working as a medical assistant (GP, Urology) and hold degrees in Media Informatics (BSc, MSc) obtained from TH Köln University of Applied Sciences, Germany. From 2008 to 2018 I worked as research assistant in Media Informatics and as programme coordinator of the master programme Web Science at TH Köln in Germany. I obtained my PhD degree in Human-Computer interaction at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, on opportunities and challenges of patients accessing their electronic health records, especially in relation to patient participaton and the doctor-patient relationship.
