I am a Remote sensing and geospatial data scientist with experience applying Earth Observation (EO) and GIS to sustainable development challenges. I hold an MSc in Spatial Engineering from the University of Twente and a BEng in Geospatial Engineering from the Technical University of Kenya. My MSc research focused on using DESIS hyperspectral data and Random Forest classification to map maize intercropping systems in Kenya.

My research interest is at the intersection of Earth Observation and AI/ML. I am particularly passionate about applying space-based and geospatial approaches to improve food security, forestry and climate resilience in Sub-Saharan Africa.

I aspire to bridge the gap between science, policy and inclusion, translating technical solutions into impactful strategies that shape a sustainable future in Africa and globally.
