With a Bachelors in English Language and Literature and several years of work experience as an English Teacher, I enrolled at the Master of Educational Science & Technology to enrich my knowledge in instructional design and educational innovation.

During my studies I got involved with various educational projects as a student assistant for the BMS Lab, CELT and the ET faculty. I mostly worked on the documentation and the creation of educational video series on the use of the BMS Lab equipment for education and research and supported the facilitation of the UTQs at CELT. I was also responsible for providing hybrid educational support and minute-taking for the ET faculty.

I aam currently more involved with teacher professionalization doing the UTQ and the development of teacher training in intercultural competences

The Clovid Project:

Collaborative Learning of Viewing and Decisionmaking Skills

The cLovid (Collaborative Learning of Viewing and Decision-Making Skills) project aimed to address the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and other contextual factors by providing technical solutions for adapting flipped classroom scenarios to microscopic pathology education. My project within the scope of the CloViD Project examined the impact of cultural diversity on the quality of clinical argumentation among Dutch and Finnish medical students in a synchronous Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) environment focusing on histopathology. The goal is to differentiate between high and low-quality argumentation and understand how cultural diversity influences it. Additionally, the study investigated students' perceptions of Collaborative Clinical Reasoning (CCR) within an intercultural CSCL context. The findings inform the development of CSCL scaffolds that support CCR in multicultural teams
