- PhD researcher at KNMI/ITC on the topic of: analyzing and improving (heat) early warning systems to better inform decision-making using value chain approaches. In my research, I draw from multiple case studies (including the Netherlands, Cabo Verde, and more).
- Heat risk consultant at the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre, supporting heat-related work (heat action planning, heat risk perception studies, heat early warnings) in Honduras, Tanzania, and Indonesia.
- Graduated MSc Spatial Engineering (Cum Laude). Thesis on "Heatwaves in Mozambique: a rising risk for public health" (9.5)
