Dominik Tkalčić  is a PhD candidate in the section Public Administration (PA) within the Faculty of Behavioral, Management & Social Sciences (BMS) at University of Twente (UT). He holds a Bachelor's degree in Culture & Economy from the University of Mannheim and a Master's degree in Governance of Technology and Innovation from RWTH Aachen University. 

Before joining the UT, Dominik was a research assistant at the Institute for SME Research at the University of Mannheim and at the Department for Science and Technology Studies at the University of Vienna. Research stays took him to the Institute for Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis (ITAS) at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), to the META research group at Politecnico di Milano (PoliMi), and to the Institute for Organizational Sciences at Vienna University of Business and Economics (WU).

At the UT, Dominik is joining the BRIDGE project, which works in close collaboration with the University of Münster and the University Medical Center Münster. The project supports the pooling of resources in the healthcare sector across borders and improves their governance through the development and implementation of a digital platform. 

Dominik is particularly interested in digital transformation processes as well as the social and ethical implications of digital technologies.
