I am a PhD candidate at the University of Twente, working on machine learning in empirical finance. My research examines how alternative data, particularly financial text, can help explain differences in stock returns and inform portfolio construction.

My PhD is conducted in cooperation with Quoniam Asset Management, where I work at the intersection of academic research and quantitative investment practice.

Previously, I worked as an analyst in portfolio management and manager selection at HQ Trust. Before that, I held working student positions in portfolio management at Quoniam and FINVIA.

I hold an MSc in Business Administration and a BSc in Business Administration and Economics from Goethe University Frankfurt, specialising in finance. During my master’s studies, I also spent an exchange semester at Ghent University.
