E. Bakhanova (Elena)

I'm currently part of the RETSI project team where I explore the integrative potential of energy transitions in the rural areas of the Overijssel region. 

My main fields of expertise are participatory modeling, gamification, serious games, and social learning. I have recently defended my PhD research at the Faculty of Engineering and IT of the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia. My doctorate research focuses on the use of game design in the context of participatory modeling to improve stakeholder engagement, social learning, and communication among the parties.
