After earning my Medical degree from Maastricht University in 2017, I started working at Thoraxcentrum Twente as a resident in Cardiology. My career journey led me to pursue a Ph.D. at the University of Twente, focusing on interventional cardiology and earning the cum laude predicate upon graduation in 2021. My doctoral research focused on interventional cardiology, specifically exploring advancements in percutaneous coronary intervention techniques using drug-eluting stents.
Currently, I am a researcher for HTSR and Thoraxcentrum Twente while continuing my residency in cardiology. I am committed to improve cardiovascular care, contributing to both academia and clinical practice.
