My research focuses on questions of justice and value in the Anthropocene, with areas of interest in Chinese philosophy, Critical Theory, and Marx.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and Political Science from the Free University of Berlin and a Master's Degree in Philosophy/China Studies from Peking University. Prior to joining UT, I was a justice scholar at the Research Institute for Sustainability (RIFS) in Potsdam, Germany, where I conducted research within and about the climate justice movement and specifically the climate strike as a tactic.

I have written about climate justice and related issues for a wide range of publications, including Jacobin Magazine, New Bloom, The Ecologist, Analyse & Kritik, Truthout, and Klimareporter.
