F. De Tommasi (Francesca)

Francesca De Tommasi received her degree in Biomedical Engineering from Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, Rome, Italy, in 2020, where she is pursuing her Ph.D. degree in Bioengineering. Her main research interests are focused on the design, fabrication, and validation of fiber Bragg grating-based measurements system to monitor both mechanical and thermal quantities for biomedical applications. She is currently a Visiting Ph.D. Student at the Surgical Robotics Laboratory of the University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands.
