I am a PhD candidate at the University of Twente in the Multidisciplinary Water Management Group, where I critically examine the intersections of carbon, biodiversity, and water offsetting working with Rosalie Arendt. With a Master’s degree in Integrated Natural Resource Management from Humboldt-Universität Berlin, I draw on my experience at the Institute for Ecological Economy Research (IÖW) and the Technical University Berlin to pursue inter- and transdisciplinary research. My work applies a social-ecological systems perspective to inform more nuanced environmental and climate policies.
In addition to my research, I am passionate about topics related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and the philosophy of science. I was awarded the DEI Incentive Fund and am currently organizing a lecture series on DEI-related topics. With a background in art and design I also support the Information Design course at the University of Twente.
