ET-CEM-MWM

I am a PhD candidate at the University of Twente in the Multidisciplinary Water Management Group, where I critically examine the intersections of carbon, biodiversity, and water offsetting working with Rosalie Arendt. Holding a Master’s degree in Integrated Natural Resource Management from Humboldt-University Berlin, I draw on my experience at the Institute for Ecological Economy Research (IÖW) and the Technical University of Berlin to pursue inter- and transdisciplinary research from a position of becoming undisciplined. My work applies a social-ecological systems perspective to inform more nuanced environmental and climate policies.

Alongside this work, my interests include the philosophy of science, decolonial and (eco)feminist perspectives, and the ways in which positionality shapes knowledge production. I was awarded the DEI Incentive Fund and am currently organizing a lecture series on DEI in scientific knowledge production titled Expanding Perspectives. With a background in art and design I also support the Information Design course at the University of Twente.
