Faik Tahirovic is a doctoral candidate in the Radio Systems group at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (EEMCS), University of Twente. As part of the DN-iSense project, he focuses on enhancing electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) for evolvingpower grids by developing adaptive distributed control systems and managing EMI through
digital signal processing.
Faik holds an M.Sc. in Automation and Control Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (2025) and is an alumnus of Alta Scuola Politecnica. He is a 2020 International Mathematical Olympiad bronze medalist, and his broader research interests include electronics, control design, and approximating the basins of attraction for nonlinear systems.
