Research and teaching focused on pragmatist inquiry as a theory of learning, design, and organizing. I study how organizations engage in collective inquiry under conditions of uncertainty — experimenting, redesigning routines, and developing new practices. Empirical domains include:
• Sustainability transitions and responsible innovation
• Strategic and entrepreneurial inquiry in impact-driven ventures
• Medical inquiry and healthcare innovation (e.g., routine redesign in emergency care)
My work connects management and organization studies with design research and philosophy of science in practice, and is developed through interdisciplinary and team-science collaborations.
