From 1984 to 2001 I worked in the field of Mathematical Physics, usually on subjects related to Lie Algebras.
Since September 2001 I am working in the field of Discrete Mathematics and Mathematical Programming, mostly on problems in the categories Timetabling and Vehicle Routing (VRP). 
I was one of the organizers of the Third International Timetabling Competition (ITC 2011).

Courses academic year 2024/2025

Courses in the current academic year are added at the moment they are finalised in the Osiris system. Therefore it is possible that the list is not yet complete for the whole academic year.

Courses academic year 2023/2024

The research in (High) School Timetabling was lacking the availability of exchangeable benchmarks in a uniform format. For this reason a group of researchers agreed on an xml-standard to exchange their datasets. At this moment there are around 50 datasets available.
